"This cabin stay was a true slice of heaven! Driving the curving roads through the forest and as soon as we entered through the red gate we knew we had booked the perfect getaway. The property is huge with trails embedded throughout - it was enjoyable to wake up and take an adventure with our dog every morning. "The home is lovely. The road to get to the home is a little survey and the road narrows, just an FYI. Only a few issues. With all of the fireplaces / pits, I assumed there would at least have been a starter package of fire wood. A reminder that there isn't would have been helpful due to the roads to get in and out of the location. Also the gas did not have propane, we had to run out and pay for the propane ourselves. "We had a very nice stay in this property with our pup. The property had a secluded feel but was within easy driving distance of many attractions of the Summersville Lake/New River Gorge National Park area. We were only one couple, but with two master bedrooms and two full bathrooms and a nice hot tub for 6, it could easily accommodate another couple, plus an extra room for little kids. Being dog-friendly with a large fenced-in yard was a plus."
