"We stayed at this location years ago and stayed again when trying to find somewhere affordable the weekend of Taylor Swift. If you go in with realistic expectations you’ll be happy. It’s nothing fancy, but was a very very affordable, safe, mostly clean (floors could’ve used a sweep/swiffering) option for an otherwise expensive weekend. I would stay again if/when I came back to Slidell! "

"This is my 2nd review of this Motel; my prior one was less favorable. I had to return for one additional night after having a negative experience the night before. The owner was very apologetic about my experience and did offer $10.00 off the walk in rate which I declined because I had a reservation. The room I was given the 2nd night was nicer than the previous night and no noise issues are loud neighbors. I did feel whoever answered my complaint at 3am was a little rude which I stated but...

"What a great oasis—this was the perfect place for our adult family of five to get away from our busy lives. The outdoor spaces are comfortable and there was plenty of things to do without leaving the property. Excellent restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive meant we only went into the city once. Rick is a perfect host, communicating regularly and responding quickly. We would stay here again!"

"Went to celebrate a family members milestone birthday. Plenty of room for all of us and the pier was terrific. A/C worked great which was a huge plus in sweltering heat. No hot water first day but owner was quick to respond and it was back up and running on day 2. There were tvs in most of the rooms but couldn't find remote controls. Lots of restaurants and groceries nearby. Very close to train tracks so bring earplugs."
