"For the most part, the cottage was very quaint, charming and clean; and logistically very convenient to the waterfront. However, an overgrown back yard and swarming bees kept us from enjoying the outdoor space., and frenzied construction on a soon-to-open restaurant within mere yards of the cottage made for disturbing daytime noise, jockying around vehicles in an already tight driveway, and annoying floodlights burning all night. Otherwise I'd consider renting it again but I'm concerned these...

"As a big fan of all this mid-century modern, of ecclectic and unique collections and of the color red..,this studio was built for me! It’s sensory overload in a fun way. There’s lots of outdoor spots to find quiet space for reading or just escaping from everything. owners/manger lives onsite and is very welcoming! It’s 4 blocks from the bay (2 of the blocks are long) but a quiet and relaxing walk or very quick drive. I’m planning a return visit. "

"This was a cute little room in a super quiet neighborhood. The room is adjoining the host’s home, so guests need to be respectful of the host and her children. The room was clean and the kitchenette and bathroom were well stocked. We had a good night’s sleep and we’re ready for the day’s adventures nearby."

"This place was fabulous. The property owner was a lovely host; very kind, friendly, and helpful. The property was spacious and at no time did our party of 8 feel like we were on top of each other. It was very clean and well stocked with towels, linen, games and kitchen supplies. I usually bring a tote of items in case we run through the owners supplies but I didn’t even have to open it. Also, plenty of seating for the family. I plan on renting this place again. Being able to have coffee each...

"What a great oasis—this was the perfect place for our adult family of five to get away from our busy lives. The outdoor spaces are comfortable and there was plenty of things to do without leaving the property. Excellent restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive meant we only went into the city once. Rick is a perfect host, communicating regularly and responding quickly. We would stay here again!"

"Went to celebrate a family members milestone birthday. Plenty of room for all of us and the pier was terrific. A/C worked great which was a huge plus in sweltering heat. No hot water first day but owner was quick to respond and it was back up and running on day 2. There were tvs in most of the rooms but couldn't find remote controls. Lots of restaurants and groceries nearby. Very close to train tracks so bring earplugs."
