"Good location . Minutes to sea front . All on the flat. Car parking right out front . Amazingly helpful and friendly reception staff. Our room was ideal for just a place to sleep , shower and put our stuff. Very warm , and we was able to open window. To me this is a major plus in a hotel. Great value for money."

"A friendly greeting and offer of help with our luggage was a great start. This is a modern hotel with superb views over the Salcombe Estuary. The room was very comfortable with all as you would expect. Mini bar, tea making, coffee pod machine etc Complimentary Salcombe gin and tonic on arrival plus ice delivered each night was great. The staff were excellent and helpful. A great Spa and pool. High standards set by friendly staff"

"Large building hidden atop of hill at the end of a cul den sac with fantastic views looking at onto the ocean as you walk out of the reception. A quick walk up the steps outside the front of the hotel and you can see for miles out on the sea front. Hotel itself well looked not a 4 or 5 star but good if your on a budget the rooms are basic but clean. The bar restaurant area is probably the best most up-to-date modern part of the hotel. Well stocked bar and I didn't eat any of the set menu but had a drink in the bar which was fine and I did notice some entertainment going on as I went out in the evening. Good views at the front not so much around the rest of the hotel and I only had the most basic single room. Hotel is 5-10 minute walk down to the shops and bars depending on how fast you can walk and a small marina area where boats are moored. I visited in the winter still plenty going on but not many tourists about in January."

"Absolutely wonderful stay! So good we extended for an extra night!! Lovely little indoor pool, lovely spacious restaurant and separate bar/entertainment area. Nice sitting room area with pool table, fruit machines puzzles and boardgames. There's also a television and comfy seating. The staff are all fabulous, altho my son, Archie has asked me to give a shout out to Jamie for being "AMAZING at everything!!" Arch's grandad lives in Paignton and its now "the law" that we stay at the Queens Hotel every time we come. "
