"Pretty location. Pleasant stay in a nice room in the annexe. Good breakfast and decent food in the evening. The only issue really is access. It's in the middle of nowhere with steep narrow single track roads that are pretty treacherous and stressful in the dark and bad weasther."

"Highly recommended. Super organised and friendly owners that are providing a very high standard. We regularly stay in Brixham when we are putting the boat and and out of the water or seeing mates and there is some good accommodation in the town but this is now our favourite place. It’s very easy to access with the waterfront restaurants and best bits, contactless check in and then a great view at breakfast over the inner harbour. "

"Room was small but very tidy, it had everything we needed. Bed wasn’t the comfiest but ok for one night. The view was amazing, high over other houses the countryside stretched for miles. Don’t book if you don’t like heights. Unfortunately there was something making a noise all night (heating, A/C, water) I don’t know what but it sounded like a heart beat all night long and kept me awake. "The owners were very friendly; greeting you on arrival and showing you to your room, which was comfortable, clean and tidy. It had a decent view over Torquay, not the see but the town itself, quite a pretty place to look out at. Parking area is small but plenty adequate if you take time and care to go into a space. The bed was made daily (something most hotels don't do now) and a nice touch was the bottle of water by the bed in case you needed a drink in the night. Plenty of storage to pack...

"Lovely property in close proximity to the beach at Challaborough Bay and a short walk to Bigbury. The property was as described and overlooks the Challaborough Bay holiday park. It's great for surfing and visiting Bigbury/Burgh Island. Salcombe is a short drive and there are many National Trust places to visit. Note that the drive down to the property is a typical road to the coast (e.g. steep and narrow)."
