"I liked the views from the restaurant deck. Overall vibe was rustic and peaceful. Sunset from the Restaurant deck was amazing. Good food! My room's patio was looking into overgrown trees blocking the mountain view, but i was fine because you can just go out and enjoy the view, do hiking in nearby trails. Overall i loved my stay at skyland, i would visit again for sure. Bdw Staff at the front desk and th restaurant were very courteous and nice."

"Property was great. Seemed like people around us though where really nosey. Or they where just staring at are room. But other than guests at hotel thebstaff where very friendly and helpful. Even when we had explain the uncomfortable feeling. They told wife they would keep watch and showed her thebway the system worked here. So the hole experience at this hotel had us come back 3 times. So i recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonable solide room for the price. Best I've seen so far. "

"We enjoy staying at properties that reflect an America of times past. Our suite was spacious, and nicely furnished. The common areas, and dining areas were representative of the style of the hotel, and were well maintained. The food service was excellent, and reasonably priced. Two minor criticisms: one, we had a first floor suite facing the porch that poured light into the room. Blackout shades would have enhanced our sleep experience. The second; a small refrigerator would have made our stay more comfortable by allowing us to enjoy fruit and cold drinks."
