"So convenient a location for exploring sights of Lake Myvatn. We loved looking for birds, hiking around Hofni, pseudocraters, Dimmunorgir, and enjoying the Myvatn Nature to relax at the end of the day. The dinners were excellent, delicious arctic char and lamb so well- prepared and beautifully presented. The staff is very friendly, courteous and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay! "This cabin is beautiful and tastefully decorated. Host/Team is very responsive in helping us with the check-in etc. Very functional home - easy to cook and wash up in the kitchen the Icelandic chocolate snack is a thoughtful touch. Coffee, tea, salt, pepper, olive oil are provided in the kitchen. Bathroom & bedroom is clean. It was quiet and secluded for us during our stay there as nobody was using the campsite at that point of time. Overall we definitely enjoyed our stay there - it has good space for 2 and kitchen prep space is bigger than other cabins we’ve stayed. Very functional and clean thank you!"

"Can’t beat the location when it comes to accessing all the incredible naturalistic beauty in the area. Easy check-in and good place to rest for two nights. A bit noisy with the thin walls, but thats what you come to expect when staying at guesthouses. Worth it for the price!"
