The staff was warm and helpful, and the on-site restaurant served some of the best meals I had on the trip. It's the perfect base for exploring the surrounding natural wonders, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area!"

"Aged rooms but very clean. Restaurant was excellent! Lobby is comfortable and we got very lucky to experience an incredible Northern Lights show! All staff was friendly and helpful! Pool table and darts were fun. Espresso machine accessible 24/7 helped us stay awake for the show and warmed us going in and outside all night."

"The host left our key and directions to our cabin at the check in. We were pleasantly surprised by a larger cabin than we had booked. We didn’t see the host until we checked out two days later. "The place was very clean, and it was easy to check-in. The kitchen was big and well furnished, but got a bit disappointed seeing there wasn’t cooking oil, salt or pepper. The bunk beds were comfortable enough, but the lack of privacy curtains was a bit off putting. I got to sleep in my room alone, so it’s not too bad, but I wouldn’t like having strangers come and go and just see me sleep. Finally, I feel like the blanket fee is a bit deceiving. While it is mentioned on Expedia, it’s like 1500...

"Nice little place. The shared bathroom was musty in the showers. Lake front is across lava field and highway. Really cute huts, clean linens, kettle in room and heat. It was convenient location for our ring road trip! "

Host/Team is very responsive in helping us with the check-in etc. Very functional home - easy to cook and wash up in the kitchen the Icelandic chocolate snack is a thoughtful touch. Coffee, tea, salt, pepper, olive oil are provided in the kitchen. Bathroom & bedroom is clean.
