"The host left our key and directions to our cabin at the check in. We were pleasantly surprised by a larger cabin than we had booked. We didn’t see the host until we checked out two days later. The kitchen was functional. No towels were provided for bathing. The northern lights were visible both nights we were there. "

"Wonderful area, loved our room with nice bath soaps and products. The common area was convenient as well, and the beds were supper comfy, out into had a porch with lovely views as well. Check in was a little confusing but it is a new facility so be aware of that and they are still building it and creating their process, will stay again! "

"We were not able to stay at the Hotel Gigur, since Americans are not allowed to travel to Iceland and our airline cancelled our trip. I know they have a no-refund policy, but I would have thought there might be some forgiveness given the situation with the pandemic. Despite several tries, I was unsuccessful in getting a refund. "

"One of the nicest places we have stayed in. The host had fresh baked bread and cake for us. The gourmet kitchen was a dream with the best organization for the guests with fresh eggs, butter and milk. The coffee set up was dreamy with ever option available. The room had a fabulously comfortable bed and modern bathroom with these cool round corner shower doors that folded in giving extra space when not using the shower.
