"We had a lovely stay at the Crown & Cushion. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Evening meals and breakfast were great. Our room was very comfortable, although one of the walls could do with some tlc, but in a 500+yr old building you've got to expect some wear and tear and quirks. The landing floor was wonky and floorboards above us were creaky, but if you use the earplugs provided this isn't a problem. Great location for exploring Windsor. Literally a few steps from the front door...

Be aware rooms in main building have very low head room until your in the rooms, but rooms are lovely and generally well maintained. Could do with a small desk or work area for business travellers. "(Stayed in Room 2) Firstly the food was absolutely fantastic! I mean wow, wow, wow. Devoured the lot! 5* for the food. We would happily come for dinner again and again. The room was pleasant, clean and the bath was lovely and spacious (could fit two SLIM people satisfactory). Loved the tea selection and mini fridge compliments as well! However, when you opened the cupboard with the ironing board, a smell of mouldy cheese comes wafting out (so I quickly closed that and moved swiftly on) we booked...
