"My wife and I recently made the short trip from the Buffalo, NY area to the town of Skaneatles, which we have been to many times. However, this was the first time renting a house in the area as we wanted to bring our two dogs. We could not have been more pleased with this home and its location. Only about a two-three minute drive from the town of Skaneatles, it provided us with a "home away from hone" setting while still being able to conveniently go into town for dinner, drinks and shopping....

"We had an amazing time staying at Bob and Katie's place! We visited during the peak of winter and experienced lots of snow, which gave us breathtaking views—absolutely beautiful. The house was well-heated and fully equipped, perfect for spending cozy moments indoors. Plus, there’s a convenience store just 3 minutes away with everything you might need. Highly recommend it!"

The host was absolutely phenomenal as far as giving advice as to what was in the area along with knowledge of his house and even sent information prior to check-in. "We stayed for a few nights over the holidays. The space is a renovated antique barn with absolutely beautiful and rustic interior decoration. The bed was so comfy, we cooked a few meals in the apt as well, and enjoyed a lovely morning walk around the pond into the neighboring field/park they’ve cleared. Host was extremely responsive and easy to contact. We had a very lovely time!"

"This VRBO is on a property with two other houses…owned by same family…All vacation rentals👍just minutes from downtown Skaneatles . It’s a wonderful location —gorgeous/beautifully decorated—-comfortable beds and quality bedding— homes are remodeled , very clean, and well stocked… The owner Debbie is very attentive…and always available 😊We have stayed many times and at a few of their locations . I give them an 11!!!"
