"I am not sure if we received VIP. perks but the property, food, staff, and room were awesome. It was like a little oasis in a bustling but laid back area. The restaurant, Gigi’s, was lovely and the staff were so friendly. The food options were flavourful and the entertainment made it extra special. Great staff in reception and housekeeping, too. "The property gives you the feel that your staying right in nature. Agouti visited daily, we heard howler monkeys, saw a sloth on our walk back from breakfast, and the enjoyed the beautiful sounds of all the birds. We were a little concerned about lack of air conditioning but we were pleasantly surprised. The pool kept us cool during the day and the open air bedrooms with the fans actually got a bit chilly. It was wonderful sleeping to the sounds and fresh air. The house is well stocked, close to the beach, close to the best breakfast at Gypsea and fresh, warm croissants delivered each morning to the local market just down the street. Puerto Viejo and Punta UVA are a short drive, as well as Manzillo Reserve. Erinn did a great job recommending Abel for us as a guide hiking Manzillo - we saw and learned so much, She recommended Herschel for surfing - he was amazing and Jason cooked us 2 great dinners! We relaxed and enjoyed our stay. Don’t let the lack of air conditioning keep you away from this property. It is well worth the trip and Erinn is very responsive to any needs or questions."

"Very welcoming and friendly reception and staff. Unique housing concept (individual bungalows without glass and fly nets only) allows for soaking up jungle atmosphere whole day and night. Waking up to the noise of howler monkeys and birds is really special. Excellent food and à la carte breakfast. Direct access to the beach (100m)."

"We had great time! The resort was one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed, with a beach view right outside our room. The staff was incredibly friendly and overly helpful. My friend got sick one of the days and they went above and beyond to help her feel better, constantly offering things to help and checking up on her every hour or so. Everyone was helpful and over-the-top accommodating. They would run and find us to show us any wildlife they happen to spot in the area. We had Christian serving us on the beach and he was phenomenal. Gave us so many recommendations for the area, and followed up by having the front desk send us the info via text. He also delivered some things directly to our room, which he didn't have to do. "
