"Our stay at Honu was awesome. The location was perfect. It was a little outside of Placencia and Maya Beach which was great. Quiet area right on the beach. The pool was awesome to have. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything you needed. Check-in was really easy. Someone met us there on the day and let us in and showed us around. Could ask for a better ending to our trip"

Unfortunately, in this case VRBO site merely redirects you elsewhere which is often inconvenient. "We LOVED our little apartment. You can be part of the laid back, in town vibe on the front porch or step inside and close the curtains for privacy. On site owner is friendly and very helpful with local info. We enjoyed being able to walk to nearby restaurants or cook for ourselves as desired. Groceries, fruit/veggie stands are easy walking distance, safe parking, and the apartment contains everything necessary. We will definitely return!"

"I was looking for something quiet and out of the way of the major tourist areas and this was perfect! No noise, no golf carts but walking distance to everything. "The house was a good location for us as home base while exploring from Dangriga to Placencia and beyond. We really enjoyed the breeze in the evenings on the veranda and the early mornings on the roof top. Beds were comfortable and air conditioning in the bedrooms a life saver. It was a comfortable house. The only downside was the four sets of multiple keys, especially at check-in when we were unfamiliar with everything. Seems like a small thing, but it was a challenge to navigate in the heat."
