"My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Umaya Beach resort. The staff was friendly and helpful. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. It was a very calm, quiet, and relaxing stay which is what we were seeking. Enjoyed the use of kayaks and paddleboards. Staff arranged excursions and transport to and from the airport as well as a daily shuttle into Placencia. Everything we were looking for in a vacation!"

It’s a humble beachside village full of love, culture, and flavor, and that’s what makes it special. A Few Things to Know: 🔹 No full-length mirror in my room—something to keep in mind if that matters to you. 🔹 The restaurant closes about an hour after check-in (around 4:30 PM), so if you’re arriving late, grab some food beforehand or wait until dinner at 6. Other than that, this stay was exactly what I needed. If you’re looking for a resort where you’re treated like family, where the people truly care, and where you can reconnect with yourself in a beautiful, peaceful setting, this is the place. I'd return in a beat."
