"I would highly recommend this place. However, if you are traveling in the winter, you should know that there is no central heating and there are only two portable electric radiators to warm the apartment. So, it got pretty cold. There is also know laundry machine, so if you are traveling with kids for a longer stay, that can be problematic. Other than those two things, the place is perfect. So if those are not an issue, then you should 100% try and book this property. "

"We booked this because I wanted to be near the sea = we were actually high up on a rocky promontory but that was fine, view was great and we were not in the midst of loads of people. One issue is parking - we had no trouble but I can see during busy times that there may be. But there seems to be enough, just need to be creative. The house was clean and has everything - no AC but with the sea air, probably no need,. It does take time to get used to the European way of heating water for showers...

"We enjoyed very much our relaxed stay at the former shepards hut. The house is situated in a lemon orchard with great view down the hills to Cascais in a very private area. "We loved our time in Azoia. The house was very cozy and had lots of space. One warning the stairs are a little steep and the full bathroom is upstairs. Could be difficult for some people. 1/2 bath downstairs so that was good for the nighttime. Love the town- some of the best restaurants we had our whole 10 days in Portugal… The coffee house across the street was very wonderful to have for morning coffee and pastries. Would definitely recommend. Our family had a wonderful time."

Staff were very communicative and nice and we had no trouble getting our access to the hotel and rooms set up before we arrived. Free luggage storage was super nice. You can use all of the facilities for both with a small gym at the boutique and pools at both.
