"This is hands down one of the most glorious homes to treat yourself with in Colorado. When we walked in to the home the first time, all my (adult) children were in awe - and we have stayed in nice rental homes. The view right off of the lake is stunning, which can be enjoyed from multiple views inside, including the hot tub on the outside deck. The interior furniture has been updated with comfortable and attractive couches and chairs. The interior finishes are high end, but not so pretentious...

"My son and I did a quick ski get away at Base Camp One. This was our 3rd time and Base Camp one and this first with this host. The hosts were very responsive and helpful when we needed some additional supplies. The listing is accurate, the unit was very clean. The first floor location is great! "

"We enjoyed our stay at Best Western Alpenglo Lodge. The staff were very helpful, especially David who stored our luggage and told us about the town. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were very good. I would definitely recommend this lodge."
