"We had a lovely stay at this wonderful beach house. Just steps from the beach, it is a great location. All the amenities that you need, plenty of space and they are very responsive to our stay and reaching out to make sure that we were having a great time. I would recommend this property to anyone!"

Stay in the charming SilverStrand neighborhood, 2 min walk to the sand-dogs ok!

Great little place

"My friend and I came down for a dog show. We needed a place to let all of us have down time between shows. The location is one short block from the beach which has gorgeous sunsets! The neighborhood is easy walking with lots of people up early taking their pups for walks. Very friendly folks! The place was cute. I made the owner aware of the very slippery floors in the bathroom and the need for grab bars and a bigger anti slip mat in the shower. She said she would address. The back yard is not accessible except by going out the front door and opening a side gate. The fence between its duplex neighbor has a couple boards missing( which she said they would address. However between that and many surf boards and other fun items you are able to use, it is NOT a backyard to let a dog run around. It was not a problem for us as we needed to keep ours very clean and I enjoy walking my dogs. Overall it was perfect for us and we would return. "

"We stayed 3 nights to visit family for an 80th birthday! This rental was perfect! Gives you beach vibes- Beautiful and very clean and organized. Quiet neighborhood and beach is literally 4/5 houses down! The Oxnard area gave me a feeling of laid back friendly welcoming neighbors. The owner's were easy to contact and responsive. "

Good location for Channel Islands

"This is a good place to stay if you are going to Channel Islands as it is close to the ferry and a nice variety of restaurants. It's not a great beach location given all of the shipping traffic and fishing industry there. The rental is good a bit tired, with chipped paint, appliances that don't work well. The rental agreement is the most involved I've had to complete for a VRBO. LOTS of you-better-do-ALL-of-this-or-else wording. It's clearly a corporate rental vs. a person/family, so don't expect any humanity for checking in early (will incur a 150 fee of your deposit even if cleaners have long been gone) and other nice accommodations. It was good enough for our trip purposes but I would not stay here again."
