We asked for housekeeping to deodorize it; but, they didn't have anything. We purchased a large can of Lysol, which we emptied during our 4 night stay to reduce the smell."

"Loved this hotel, it's not like every other hotel, rooms mostly looking alike, it is unique. The room was huge, the bed is a regular bed though, squeaky. Complaints about the carpet are greatly unfounded, they are going to update it, but it is clean and not bad looking. They are currently renovating the upstairs rooms, but it did not affect our stay. Great little historic hotel, I recommend it. "

"We have stayed several times at the Incline Lodge as it is close to everything in Incline and reasonably priced, however this was our first stay since the new owners bought the inn and renovated. It's now on par with every other kitschy, cool Tahoe motel and it's better for that! "
