"This is a great vacation spot if you want to relax!! It’s a perfect setting to get away. Special thank you to Shane for making it a memorable experience. He prepared world class dinners with local flavors. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in planning day trips to black river by boat with a few stops to include pelican bar and a local crab shack on the river. He recommended YS falls for a day trip, beautiful! We did leave the villa to grab lunch at Jack sparrows and spend some time with the locals at treasure beach. The home is dated but has all the amenities. Mark the owner was also very responsive before the trip to finalize any questions. The housekeeper and gardener were there every morning working efficiently and gave great conversation . Thank you for a wonderful Jamaican experience "

"My 21-day stay at Casa da Buena Vista was wonderful. It is located in a very nice neighbourhood that is within walking distance to town. I enjoyed breakfast in the garden while watching and listening to birds, including hummingbirds and canaries. The host, Richard, was very helpful and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and had everything I needed. The grounds are very peaceful and beautiful. Every day was a good day- for 21 days."

"The highlight for me was the direct access to the beach, which made it so convenient to enjoy the ocean anytime. The seafood was outstanding fresh, flavourful, and expertly prepared. He hands down made our vacation. You will not find a better cooked meal on the island. He was so kind and generous and helpful. Seriously invaluable. Wonderful layout for a group of nine with a mix of two families including littles and grandparents. We would book here again without hesitation. Also, you won’t see a better view of the sunset.
