"House was very large in addition to the outdoor space. Very nice decor and furnishings. Only challenges were the gas grill would not heat properly and it was difficult to change the temperature in the basement. The lower level bedrooms needed a lot of blankets. Other than that it was all great. We would return to this rental. "

"Our family had the best time staying in the Yellow Rose! We loved the restored character and mansion feel. There's room for everyone, 2 pianos, lots of board games, a Wii, and a projector for movies. The kitchen was fitted with modern appliances and the tankless water heater means we never ran out of hot water. Comfortable beds too. The game room upstairs was our favorite spot. "Our family stayed there Aug 3 to 10th. We had 9 people, two teenagers and a 10 year old. We really enjoyed the beautiful house, pool, hot tub, and lake. The property was well equiped with everything we needed. The boys enjoyed fishing and having smores by the lake. The game room was fantastic and got a lot of use. Also, wow, what a great book collection in the living room! Everyone found what they loved. David was a great host and walked us through any questions we had, and responed...

"We had two families (10 people) come together in this beautiful home. The room setup is great to give adults and kids their own space. They have a fully stocked kitchen to prepare foods. They had a ton of games for various ages including pool and basketball. The lake access and kayaks were the highlight of the trip. We will definitely be renting again."
