"I was on a long drive and needed a place to spend the night between St Louis and Columbia MO. I found Motel 70 to be absolutely perfect. Motel 70 is an older facility right off I-70, but for the value I thought I would give it a try. The Manager was fantastic and made me feel at home. "Overall a great stay. We enjoyed the surroundings, reconnecting without tv etc, and the nice pavilion with hot tub. However, there are a few smaller things I must point out…the insulation & heating combination in this little house is very uneven/seems inadequate. Many of the windows leaked so much cold into the house that they sweat on the inside. Water pressure is dreadful when you’re trying to shower in the cold bathroom, so takes a while to get warmed up. No coffee cups or glass cups, so...
