"Convenient and close to transportation and the historic center. The breakfast was very good and the choices very good quality. I asked to be change the room the first night and they changed us the next day for a very nicer room with balcony and more modern that the first one, we spend 6 nights."

"This hotel is very well located, you have restaurants, stores and tourist attractions at walking distance. In addition, there is a taxi station right in front of the hotel (very important to go to the train/bus station). Last but not least, the staff was very kind. Highly recommended!"

" This hotel is simple & clean & had the most necessary amenities. It is not luxurious but comfortable & the qualities below explain why we would happily stay there again. It is a perfectly located hotel within a couple hundred meters from dozens of great cafes & restaurants, numerous shops & some of the most iconic & historically significant sites. "Such a beautiful place. Like stepping into Sienese history. Amazing breakfasts on the balcony overlooking S Giuseppe and the hills beyond. Caterina provided dairy free alternatives and a kettle so we could make tea any time. Everyone was really helpful. The original Etruscan house has was added to in the 15 and 17 centuries. Wander around to find the old kitchen, patterned marble floors, painted ceilings, and terraced garden. Lots of nooks and crannies and places to curl up with a book or sketch...

"We loved the location, just a few blocks from the piazza where we watched the palio horserace trials - super convenient The staff was very helpful, really bending over backward to get us a cab at an extremely busy time of year."

We enjoyed our stay very much.

"We had an excellent 4-night stay at Hotel Italia. We were particularly impressed by the friendliness, helpfulness, efficiency of the staff - desk, breakfast room, cleaning service. Our room was clean and well-kept. All the facilities worked well: shower temperature and pressure, heating, lights, tea kettle, refrigerator. The beds were standard European firmness. The bedding was cozy. Breakfast was a delicious spread, with lots to choose from. The Hotel is just a few minutes walk from the train station, and an easy walk to the historic district. We highly recommend Hotel Italia."
