"Old-School Elegance... Similar to Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. The first major resort hotel in Pattaya, I was told built in 1987... (?) Currently remodeling guest rooms. The carpet in the room we were in, absolutely needs replacing but the view, food, amenities, and pools, location, friendly and helpful staff and hospitality by far overcome the carpet. We didn't stay in the room a lot but did really enjoy the Dusit Thani, Pattaya. "

A true gem

"What an amazing place. I have never stayed anywhere quite like it. It was so perfect and beautiful. The staff in themselves were amazing, wonderful, friendly and very attentive. Above and beyond. You can get their shuttle bus into pattaya which is about a 20 minute ride and that was a little luxury in itself. The breakfast buffet was amazing and you had so much to choose from. On a weekend it was a set menu, which was amazing but you could order as much as you liked and more if you wanted too. We went to the sanctuary of truth temple and the elephant jungle sanctuary. Both a must do. We got picked up from hotel. This place is a true gem. "

"A great hotel, with fantastic facilities. The rooms are amazing, and great for single travellers, couples, or families. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful, and they couldn’t be better. The food on offer was very good, with usual favourites alongside some traditional Thai food that couldn’t have been better. The hotel is a short drive to Pattaya City, which is actually a positive. There is a 7/11 around the corner, but the hotel could benefit from a shop on site for snacks and essentials. Otherwise I couldn’t recommend the hotel more. I will definitely come back."

"If you price the included breakfast and kiddie water park at international rates the hotel room itself is almost free. Great value!! Clean happy place. If you have young kids the waterpark is fantastic. Even for adults. Right right there so no need taxis etc. On the map the hotel looks a bit set back from the beach but it's like 100 feet further than the Holiday Inn (which is also great but no water park and when I booked was twice the price of Mercure). Proximity to beach and to Walking street is not an issue. Family friendly. If no kids and have the money then Hilton is your place. Pls spend a bit extra and don't stay at Ibis. "
