"Amazing place with a spectacular view of Mount Fuji "

"This was the most stunning property and run by the most attentive, respectful, welcoming, and warm staff for our stay. We were only here for one night but wished we were here longer. The buses to get to the hotel only stop there a few times a day but this meant the owner knew when guests would arrive and was there to welcome each and everyone of us to the hotel. The moment we jumped off the bus we were greeted and our bags taken inside so himself and his staff could take the most incredible photos of us with the mountain in the background. We were seated in the small sitting area off the reception and given tea or coffee while they checked other guests in so we didn’t have to wait in line. After being checked in they took our bags up to our room for us. We had a beautiful traditional room with the best view. The comfiest room and best sleep of our trip and when we left in the morning and checked out, waiting for our bus, the owner came around once again to take photos one last time and saw us off. While the bus took a while he brought everyone cups of green tea. Could not recommend a hotel more. "

You cannot beat them for comfort, service, meals, mountain view and the quality of everything they provide. I absolutely loved my stay here and felt like I was a traditional Japanese hotel along with all the 5 star service provided. Cannot recommend it enough and I will return when I visit Japan next. Loved it"

"This is the small hotel that they use the exterior for the Netflix drama series “ Hot Spot”. The interior is much more spacious than what we see in the TV show. It is located in the remote area and it’s inconvenient for shopping, etc. However, it is an advantage for people who want to avoid the hassle of overtourism in the Mt. Fuji area. The room was newly renovated and the bedding was very comfortable. We didn’t eat at their restaurant, but they have a fridge in the room, so we brought our food and had cozy time enjoying the view of Mt.Fuji from our window. "
