"I missed checking in because I did not catch the shinkansen. Nevertheless, when I called to try to cancel, the lady at the other end of the line was extremely helpful and did her best to provide the best service. Although cancellation was not possible because it was done through Expedia (who by the way was not responsive at all), they offered to accommodate us the next morning to eat breakfast and stay in the room until checkout time st 11AM."

"They seem to be short staffed though it’s probably the norm for hotels like these but still very satisfied with my stay here. The room was very large especially for Japan and the staff was friendly and accommodating. It’s a bit of a walk to the station but doable. Try staying on the main road to the hotel. We took a back road after stopping at a convenient store and had to walk on a road with no sidewalk with our luggage. "

"Excellent room Staff are helpful but cannot speak English. Comfortable place The only complaint was the food. It snowed on the night of arrival and the next day we decided to use the hotel dinning. There plenty of choices but the food are not as fres at other places and was quite expensive . We later found reasonably close by restaurant which are actually cheaper. "

"Pretty close to Morioka Station, this hotel is clean. The available carpark is not free and quite limited in spaces. Not really suited to families as there weren't any family rooms available. It's called Hotel Jin Morioka Ekimae, but it's really behind the station which is a quieter area with minimal dining and shopping."

"The hotel was conveniently located steps away from the JR station. Morioka has no subway, so aside from the JR station, accessing other parts of the city requires walking, taxi or bus. The hotel is adjacent to many good dining options near the station, and is a 20-minute walk to Iwate Park. "Natural Hot Springs Dormy Inn is always our #1 choice when we visit Morioka. It’s in a very convenient location to visit many museums and points of attraction in downtown Morioka. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and very understanding with my limited Japanese. They are also very responsive to messages on apps or emails. The hot springs are very nice and always clean. I like how there are 3 different temperatures baths and some are open air but your privacy is maintained. The hotel offers a lot of little perks like a welcome beverage and a late night snack as well as welcome desserts in room. "

"The hotel is dated but nice. I prefer the mountain view rooms as they have been updated recently. The beds are quite hard so the tatami mats are the better option. The onsen are very relaxing and my skin feels incredibly soft after each visit. The breakfast buffet has a good selection of both western and eastern style dishes. "
