"Sato san and Nora san were the perfect hosts for our 4-night stay. Food was very good and the pension was warm and cozy. "Very nice and helpful English speaking member of staff. However, the room felt very similar to a youth hostel. The room was incredibly cramped and dated. The lighting in bathroom was so dim it was impossible to have a bath with the door closed as would be in darkness.
