"This is an amazing resort to stay at. Large rooms .. ocean view .. quiet .. quality linens .. friendly staff .. dinner and breakfast delicious and service VERY prompt. Staff provides a special treat in your room if you are celebrating an anniversary or birthday. If you prefer not to have housekeeping service and stay for three nights .. you get $ vouchers for the grill. Great deal! Easy directions for coffee machine were a bonus! "

"Quiet, most of the traffic passing by were people walking their dogs. Comfortable, any problems with the sleeping accommodations were due to individual aging conditions.The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed our meals in an alcove just off the kitchen, so easy to prepare and serve meals. We enjoyed our evenings discussing books and catching up in the comfortable living room in front of the fireplace. We were not able to enjoy the lovely backyard and amities due to the weather. Highly recommend this place. "

"This is an extremely beautiful property - we had everything we needed, and more. There are beautiful views of the Sooke harbour and the nighttime sky, a sauna, and a hot tub. It's obvious that a lot of thought and care has gone into the creation of this home-away-from-home. We will definitely book again!"

"We stayed here for a work retreat so we didn't fully use all of the amenities. Nonetheless, it was a beautiful place to be.The directions were clear to get to the house. The road off the highway has barely any street lights. So when it rains, drive slower as it is really dark and somewhat windy.The house was fully stocked and then some. The hosts provided a lot of extras (especially the kitchen) that weren't in the listing so in some ways, we overpacked. Next time, we'll make sure to email first and ask. Otherwise, it is a very roomy, yet cozy house. It can get a little noisy with the footsteps and pets from upstairs. It was fine for us but if you are a light sleeper, be prepared. That's about the only thing we can think of that could be an issue. Otherwise, the house is perfect. We would love to come back in the future."
