"I stayed at the lovely cabin on Robs property a few weeks ago. It was so nice and clean and was safe for a person traveling solo. Rob was very responsive when I had a question and there was a local gentleman available for support in the event something came up. I loved his place! Thank you"

"Loved this little place. Great stay for me and my two daughters. Quiet, clean, and with plenty of amenities. Redding is a lovely city, with lots of fun stuff to do. Highly recommend."

"Once a year my family gets together for a family reunion at a ranch in Cottonwood. The reunion is filled with a ton of family activities, swimming, and the occasional all day lake trip to Whiskeytown. "This year we decided that instead of buying presents, we would spend time together in a cozy cabin in the woods. We arrived and had a little bit of a hard time finding our cabin and since, it was the 24th of December and there was no one to help us get to our cabin, we started looking around. The place itself is beautiful because it is in nature but there is unnecessary stuff all around, even a plane. "We visited for 4 days and stayed a 5th day so we could get another day of skiing in. We were comfortable, the place was heated, warm, cozy and away from everything which is what we wanted. There’s a store in town (Reeds) where you can grab groceries, Redding is a half hour away, Shasta 1.5 hours. Peace, quiet, Serenity, good for the kids to run around. Plenty of firewood for the old school stove. Beds cozy. Office nearby. Hottub wasn’t overchlorinated which was nice. They should make it lighter...

"This is a lovely home that can accommodate multiple guests. Plenty of room to spread out. Has every amenity. Well-stocked kitchen. There was difficulty reaching the owner to check in. We never received an access code until 45 minutes prior to check in time. It is in a remote area with limited services nearby, which made the situation even more difficult and stressful."

"The property was spotless and has a ton of amenities. The wrap around balcony provides a fantastic view of the Mount Shasta. I highly recommend staying at this beautiful property next time you are in Shingletown. The home is located about three minutes from the little downtown where there is a nice little place to get a bite to eat and a drink in the outside beer garden with live music on weekends."
