"Myself, my friend and his dog stayed for 3 nights over a weekend and really enjoyed it. Very well located in proximity to all the sights we wanted to see along Lake Superior and the UP. Cabin itself was very clean and decently equipped, the only thing we commented is it could use an over the faucet caddy in the shower to hold toiletries, and bring your own drinking water. "Stayed here with our four children for a long fall weekend and had a great time. The kayaks were a hit with the kids as well as having a nightly fire. We hiked chapel falls and Rock which was the second favorite activity. Definitely would return. "

"This is my second fall trip to the Turtle Cove property in Hiawatha National Forest. The house and property were excellent, clean, and ready when we get in the first evening. The location made for great adventures and the morning views of the fall colors were excellent as I sipped my coffee. I will look to stay at this property again on my next visit to the area."

"Lovely, peaceful setting, very relaxing. Close to attractions in Munising. Comfortable. Must read owners' description very literally. I.e., ""stove top" means range top, no oven; "TV" means tv and VCR, no cable or broadcast access. (We did enjoy some of the old VHS and DVDs provided). Better directions to house would have helped especially after dark. We'd rent this location again."

"Clean, older cabin. The picture shows a simple white sided cabin. It does not show the cabin 6 feet to the side, with all kinds of stuff in the the yard. Also, the area has some nice smaller cabins, and some pretty run down cabins. Inside, just fine, outside, not so nice "

"We really enjoyed our stay at this very comfortable, private cottage in the woods. The cabin was well stocked with everything to make for an enjoyable stay to relax, cook, and spend time outdoors. The owner was a great communicator, the cabin exceeded our expectations and the location was great to explore the Munising area, Pictured Rocks, Grand Island and many hiking trails. I would highly recommend this cabin for up to 6 people. "

"The cabin is close enough to Pictured Rocks and all that Munising has to offer, restaurants and activities. The cabin had all the needed amenities for cooking, recreation and comfort. My family enjoyed the boats and yard for outdoor play. The host had great communication. "
