Quiet year round lake home, swimming/fishing, near Pictured Rocks, trail access
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (47)
"If you are looking for quiet, beautiful surroundings on a pretty little lake with a kayaks and patio an outdoor space to enjoy to U.P. -this is the place! The beds are comfortable. And lots of little extras you need when you are away from home. The only negative we found, was cleaning crew not very thorough, yes, it is a cabin in the UP , but a little attention to cleaning the countertops and floors, makes a big first impression. Otherwise, a sweet little place."

The Perfect Adventure Nest!
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (57)
"We enjoyed our stay. We were only there in the evenings we had campfire each night and at one one night the manager called to let us know that the northern lights were hitting and we jumped in the car, went about a mile away, and got fabulous pictures of the northern lights overall it was perfect. It was right in the middle of where we wanted to go. Rock hounding, and waterfall chasing. We would do it again."

Bear Den-Secluded 2 Bedroom Cabin Located in the Hiawatha National Forest.
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (68)
"Outstanding modernized cabin deep the forest. Full kitchen with gas stove, toaster, microwave and large-capacity coffeemaker. Main heat source is the gas fireplace, which quickly warms the living area. Bed was outstanding. Amply provided with towels and washcloths. Despite its fairly isolated location is easy to find and only a mile from the main road (H58). You're in the wilds here, and the stars are bright at night. Highly recommended. "
