"We were in the UP for high school semi final football. This cottage was the sweetest. I hope to come back to this areas and stay again one day!! "

"This is my second fall trip to the Turtle Cove property in Hiawatha National Forest. The house and property were excellent, clean, and ready when we get in the first evening. The location made for great adventures and the morning views of the fall colors were excellent as I sipped my coffee. I will look to stay at this property again on my next visit to the area."

"Overall it was a great stay. We thought the inside of the cabin was actually cuter in person. It was a little disappointing how close the neighbors were considering the remoteness of the property but it was fine. Our 2 dogs LOVED playing in the shallow bay. There were some broken items (outdoor chair, shower door, missing towel bar, etc.) but nothing we couldn't maneuver around. "We love the location and features of this house. It’s perfect for a getaway to Munising. We’ve been here in both August and November. "

"Lovely, peaceful setting, very relaxing. Close to attractions in Munising. Comfortable. Must read owners' description very literally. I.e., ""stove top" means range top, no oven; "TV" means tv and VCR, no cable or broadcast access. (We did enjoy some of the old VHS and DVDs provided). Better directions to house would have helped especially after dark. We'd rent this location again."

"We came to the area to ride snowmobiles. The host was very accommodating for us and even gave us tips on how to get to the trails. We had a few mechanical issues but the host was very friendly with checking in to make sure we were enjoying our stay and gave us suggestions on where to find parts for our machines to get us back on the trails. The property was just as described. We had a real wood fire at night (bonus points for a real wood fireplace!) and we could hear the waves of Lake Superior...

"The cabin is close enough to Pictured Rocks and all that Munising has to offer, restaurants and activities. The cabin had all the needed amenities for cooking, recreation and comfort. My family enjoyed the boats and yard for outdoor play. The host had great communication. "

"We stayed in the winter, so we didn't get to use the lake or the deck, but this was a charming home. All the necessary amenities, and plenty of space. Pretty desolate in the winter, but in a good way :)"
