"Very comfortable room with a large balcony. Very best view of the lake. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. All staff are very polite and friendly. It was one of the best experiences our family ever enjoyed."

"Room is on the small side for family of 4, including two teens. View is spectacular. Included buffet dinner is not bad, above my expectation. This is the property I wish to stay an additional night, but the price prevent me to do that."

"We stayed on the third floor of the hotel, which has unique Japanese-style rooms. That was our favorite part, and we even had Japanese food delivered to the hotel so we could eat at our floor table. The location is also very convenient, within walking distance of Hinoki Village and the train to Alishan. The breakfast was just ok. My kids liked the lunar new year wish activity in the lobby."

"Overall very good. Great location and service. Comfortable and clean room and bathroom. Right next to Sogo, Watsons, and Family Mart. Close to Caligraphy Park and lots of places to eat nearby. They also have easy to use washer and dryer for NT50. Great place, will stay here again on our next trip, and recommend this hotel."

"Property was kind of old, it was mostly kept clean but it did look like it needed aome repairs. All in all it wasn't a bad stay. It was very central to Taichung main station but if you want to see the rainbow village or the gaomei wetlands you're going to have to travel VERY far. One of the main things close is Myahara, the ice cream shop."

"The staff service was great. Everyone was very helpful. The room is large but the area to hang clothes is very poorly designed and really not useful at all. No nightlight in the room. Pillows are too thick for comfortable sleep. Dining was mediocre at best. Breakfast offers good coffee and yogurt but little else that's appetizing. Dinner was just okay."

"The location is prefect for walking around the Alishan. They also provide free shuttle buses. The staff and quality of service are excellent. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and dinner a lots. However, there was some weird machinery noises at night. They were not loud but noticeable at quiet nights. Not sure it was related to the renovation or air conditioners. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel if it fits to your budget. "

"A true 5 start experience. The rooms were very large and beds comfortable. Breakfast spread was amazing. Convenient location to get to places with the Tiger City mall just behind the hotel."
