We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, location was perfect, loved all the wildlife right outside our door, even bald eagles and a pelican, in addition to the geese. So awesome to be able to use the canoe on a peaceful warm afternoon. Couldn't be happier we chose this home. Thank you for your hospitality and so easy to contact the owners with any questions with immediate responses! "

"Well-maintained inside. Unbelievably clean. Property owner answered questions in a timely manner. There were a lot.of steps to the house, but the write up of the property did mention the steps. The walk into the historic area was short. We even did it in the rain and it was no big deal. "

"The home is lovely, quiet and comfortable. It is a great location if you are looking to shop, eat and enjoy Galena's Main Street. We walked from the house all weekend and didn't have to worry about parking on Main. Street parking at the house was first come first served, but we had no issues. We would definitely stay here again."

"We had a great time Thrift shopping, enjoying the Fall scenery, and the peaceful quiet of the Farm house location. We were not lacking in anything I can think of. In fact I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the game tables and light house more. This is a Cozy Home! I do need to recommend Louisburg Junction Supper Club. You will want reservations. "

"I stayed here on a business trip to one of the Dubuque universities. It was in a perfect location - close to the universities in a nice nearby neighborhood. The updated brick ranch home was very tastefully and comfortably furnished with everything I needed - well-equipped kitchen, fast wi-fi, very comfortable bed and furniture. Extra touches like nightlights, an electric fireplace, cozy sheets and bedding made it a perfect place to stay. It was very clean and everything was in great working...

"My husband, myself, my sister and our children ages 6-17 stayed here for a relaxing family weekend. This is actually my secone stay here this year! The location is perfect! Close to amenities but far enough away to get a full camping/outdoors secluded experience! We love to sit by the fire, watch the birds, fish at Finleys landing and walk the beach. The cabin is cozy and rustic and thoroughly stocked with firewood and cooking supplies! Perfect stay for families! "
