"My dad and I went to an event at a nearby offroad and stayed here. The place was right across from a farm with a great view of a local forest. It was quiet and clean and they included a nice welcome basket along with some toiletries in case you forgot something. We had a little trouble with the Internet at first but the owner quickly took care of it. They were very communicative and apologetic. "We were to go to the mts. of NC but hurricane Helene put a stop to that so we decided to visit Jim Thorpe but there were no accommodations that appealed to us. Never tried VRBO before but this cabin is just outside of the town. We absolutely loved it. The cabin has modern amenities but still has the cabin vibe. We highly recommend this place and its gracious hosts to anyone. 5 stars is not a high enough rating!!"
