"The wife and i wanted to get away for a nice quiet weekend for our anniversary and this delivered just that and then some. The cleanliness of the cabin was amazing and the host was nothing but helpful providing lots of optuons in the area for food and groceries to the amenities he offered at the cabin. "This is a cute place just outside of Jim Thorpe with all the "cabin" decor you could find! The only disappointment for us was it was a gas fireplace, and we were hoping for the ambiance of a real fireplace. We couldn't do the outdoor fire pit because of fire restrictions, but it's nicely placed just out back and has swings and plenty of space for outdoor dinner, etc. There is a lovely lake with opportunities for sunsets and walking trails throughout the area. "The home was very nice. It definitely could use some minor fixes and updates. Light switches had painters tape with instructions on them. The living room heat didn’t work as well as the bedroom heat. This caused the bedroom to be very warm or the living room to be cold. The jet tub in the master bedroom didn’t work. Very small toilets."

"My dad and I went to an event at a nearby offroad and stayed here. The place was right across from a farm with a great view of a local forest. It was quiet and clean and they included a nice welcome basket along with some toiletries in case you forgot something. We had a little trouble with the Internet at first but the owner quickly took care of it. They were very communicative and apologetic.
