It’s an idyllic & quintessential place with the original features preserved & a modern touch. The night we stayed was so cold so the log fires in the bar/eating area was lovely and the bedroom was perfect. Everything was so comfy we could’ve happily stayed a lot longer! "

"I was very pleasantly surprised at how clean and comfy this hotel was, needed a low cost last minute night. Free parking, the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, the hotel was spotlessly clean and the beds were really comfy, tv had good selection of channels including Disney plus and Netflix, which was great for us as there was a bad storm at the time. We ate in the restaurant and food was served quickly and was perfect temperature and well presented, we had no disturbances during the night. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I will be booking again, I have stayed in many hotels in this area, some 3x the price, this one is by far the best value for money."
