"Dislikes: Posted earlier about in room coffee machine--did not use as there were black and brown flecks that consistently appeared with every cup of hot water; machine definitely should be replaced or rinsed with vinegar or diluted bleach solution; who knows what was in there. My room faced a major street with traffic noise and sirens 24/7. Bring ear plugs. The bathroom space is tight, but will do for use for 1 person at a time, if traveling with others. Likes: There is a coffee stand in lobby,...

"I had an amazing time at the Washington Hilton...I enjoyed my room and I really enjoyed the crab corn chowder I had at the hotel restaurant...I could have took a container of that home....Now the best part was... the gym and the trainers as well as...THE ROOF TOP POOL!!!!! OMG THE ROOF TOP POOL WAS HEAVEN....I love to swim and got a couple of laps in. My stay was peaceful and wonderful!"

"We enjoyed our stay overall and the location can't be beat! Walking distance to the National Mall, the Wharf, restaurants, shopping, Metro and Bus lines, Capital Bike share and so on! What we would see improved is the thermostat in the room lets you set the temp to 65 degrees but never goes cooler than 72/73 degrees. So it was hot sleeping. We asked for it to be fixed but I think they have it set to not go lower than 72/73. Also, cleanliness of the room was lacking, nothing I couldn't remedy...
