"A wee couple of days in York. Nice and clean hotel.Staff friendly. Very close to the shambles, cathedral, shops pubs etc. about £ 8;00 taxi ride from main train station. Lovely staff. Could do with some place to hang coats . Separately esp in this wet weather. But otherwise …hunky dory."

"Brilliant layout and friendly staff. The chef struggled with making a proper dinner on the first night but the staff more or less made up for it by not charging for dessert or a service charge. Wonderful views."

"Great Hotel, within easy walking distance of York City Centre – 10-12 mins max.Room was very clean and spacious with a good-sized TV (55Inch) and a good selection of teas and coffees provided . Bar was clean and well stocked , good selection of fines and beers and reasonable prices. Plenty of onsite parking @ £17 per night – not cheap, but not extortianate for a major tourist spot like York . Will go again. "

"Positives: Friendly check-in and staff. Clean good-size room. Good price for York. Hotel seems in good condition. Neutral: Mistake made at check-in which would have charged me twice for the room had I not checked. It was sorted out quickly when pointed out. Negative: Breakfast had a good selection but coffee is from an automatic machine and not good. Both had Eggs Benedict which wasn't great. "

"Good hotel in the centre of Leeds City Centre, with good staff and a modern look and feel to the restaurant, bar and conference areas. The staff are exceptional, and the hotel is consistently good in all areas. A solid hotel that can be relied upon in Leeds. Five Stars and recommended to you!"

"We absolutely love this place been a few times now and every time is spot on perfect (wish we had some sugar and tea bags and milk for the room but will remember next time) brilliant as a dog friendly place, our pup loved it! All facilities and room were perfect for what we needed for the night thank you so much for our day and night I’m sure we will be back soon. "
