"Basic things that were neglected or done poorly 1) no pre check in email was received resulting in us being stuck outside the property as we were not informed of the access code to gain entry into the property. Imagine being caught in a situation when you had 4 cars backed up behind you and you couldn’t get in - enough said 2) no air conditioning in the rooms and the windows can’t be open. "A lovely old homestead surrounded by welcoming lawn and gardens. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was spacious & charmingly rustic. It suited the needs of our extended family of 7 adults & 4 children. Our only disappointment was a few basic items that were missing .. there was no salt & pepper, cooking oil & an inadequate supply of toilet paper for the length of stay we’d booked for 11 people.
