"A lovely family run hotel that made me feel very welcome, very attentive and happy to have a chat. Room was a good size overlooking the front so I had a sea view, only a 2 minute walk from the Chine and 5 minutes from town. Would like to visit agin in the summer for the outside pool!"

"Absolutely amazing hotel, full of history, has a library full of maritime genre books and plenty of comfy areas to sit and relax. Staff were amazing and breakfast was fabulous. Full availability on cooked and continental breakfast. Rooms were lovely and had what we needed. Hotel is within easy walking distance of the dockyard, shopping and transport links. Would recommend easily. "

"A great set up. Would recommend to book directly with hotel as using other sites yoou then have to pay for swimming and gym. A great place to stay and rest. Outdoor seating if you want to have a meal or drink. Staff are friendly and go out there way to make sure you have a wonderful time. I will be differently returning."
