"The pictures do not do this property justice. Book this place now, you won’t regret it! There is not much in this area to go and do but we just wanted 2 days away from EVERYTHING so it was perfect! Would also suggest 4 wheel drive to get to the location. We had a wonderful time and we will definitely be returning."

Unfortunately water level was low on the lake so no access to launch boat on private dock, but found alternative location 20 minutes away. House is stunning inside and out. "we really liked the privacy of the cabin we only saw 1 person our entire time at the property we also liked the overall appearance of the cabin I also enjoyed the firepit the only negative was the power was out all day and night in banner elk so we lost our dinner reservation for Saturday night but you can't control mother nature "

"We had a great stay at this property, it has a beautiful view of the lake and is a short trip to multiple marinas. The house itself has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Just be aware that the driveway is super steep and your tires will slip a bit going up, especially in the rain."

"Could not have had a more perfect and amazing stay! After backpacking 20 miles on the AT, this cabin was the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate, with more amenities than we knew what to do with! Haha. The location is absolutely perfect, being so close to the Creeper Trail/Damascus, while also a very short distance from Abington. The hosts were both so friendly and made the check-in/check-out process so simple. Highly recommend this beautiful cabin for your getaway!"

"Friendly goats to feed, happily behind the fence. Close to the track , secluded feel. I wish we had more time we would have used the fire pit in the backyard . Easy to enter easy to communicate with the host. One of my favorite things was the guest book. Would definitely recommend and return. "

"This place is awesome !!! Me and my girlfriend just spent 5 day on the river and we didnt want to go home. The host Roy greeted us and was ultra helpful, he also takes care of the property which was fully equipped with everything, spare towels, napkins, coffee, TP...... He reached out to help but also left us alone (HUGE). We went to Blue Hole waterfall-freezing but you have to go in, the Wilbur Dam-very cool, Worlds Smallest Tunnel in Shady Valley-silly fun, the Cherokee Natl Forest- breath...

"The cabin is very clean inside. There was a lot of care and attention to the details. The location is great, close to the Dollar General. If you leave the cabin be aware that there is poor cell phone service. The outside porch could use some repairs but does not effect your enjoyment. "
