"From the listing, it seemed we were in an home/apt with it's own private pool. What we found was it was a small apt with lots of stairs and a pool you share with a whole complex of apartments. Plus, the pool is not heated and too cold to use. And there wasn't a hot tub as listed. It would've been nice."

"My wife and I enjoyed a magnificent week enjoying the well manicured gardens, fabulous lake Como view, warm and inviting hosts Giovanni and Brunella and their tremendous Villa. We had previously stayed at Villa D’Este for our honeymoon and found that Sans Souci offered so much more for us. We enjoyed all the surrounding villages and restaurants and felt compelled to return to the villa just to relax and take in the views and sounds of birds and church bells. "Lovely and clean property! Good bedroom and bathroom facilities with a nice view from the bedroom balcony. Only a 28 minute walk from the centre or 5 minutes on the metro. Some nice bars and restaurants around the apartment. Only negative is that it is not made clear that you will be sharing the house with the owner and their dog. However this did not affect us and was not disruptive in any way the dog is very cute :) "

"We spent very nice vacation days at Lake Como. The apartment is located in a house built into the mountain. Therefore, you have to climb some stairs to get to the apartment, but then you are rewarded by a beautiful apartment with a fantastic view. We felt very comfortable."
