"Less than 5 minutes walk from metro station. Hotel was bright, clean, well maintained and quiet. Good size room and bathroom. All staff were pleasant and helpful. Area around the hotel doesn’t look very nice but only ever saw people walking their dogs or going into the market opposite the hotel so always felt safe. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Lina’s apartment. She is such a kind and generous host and went out of her way to make our stay so lovely. The apartment is spacious, clean, well equipped, and has stunning views of Lake Como. Lina spent lots of time providing suggestions of things to do and how to get there. She printed off bus schedules for us and has a great information book that has ideas for places to visit and the ferry schedule. As Canadians, even though our Italian is not very good and her...

"We were greeted upon arrival by Davide with great local information. While space was limited, it was smartly done and worked great. Location was perfect for us. Could walk to Como or hop on the ferry which is about a minute walk. We enjoyed wine each evening on the balcony, which was the highlight for us. Amazing views of the lake and surrounding areas. If we make it back to Lake Como, would hope to stay there again."

"Came all the way from the United States to Milan, and had this stay confirmed by VRBO. I arrive at the property, only to have a mean security guard yell at me and telling me "that my stay was not valid." I then called the host, only have her say that "this stay is no longer available." I was then stuck in Milan without a place to stay. What a nightmare! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!"

"Absolutely fantastic apartment with amazing artwork throughout. Hosts are fantastic people, we felt like we were family visiting them! Has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Quiet and lots of room. Great restaurant across the street and others within easy walking distance. MiCo is an easy walk. Hosts were responsive, very patient with us as we kept getting delayed while trying to get there, but they took all the stress away! Arranged a driver for us back to airport which helped alot....

"From the listing, it seemed we were in an home/apt with it's own private pool. What we found was it was a small apt with lots of stairs and a pool you share with a whole complex of apartments. Plus, the pool is not heated and too cold to use. And there wasn't a hot tub as listed. It would've been nice."

"Great base for exploring the beautiful area. Car essential. Highlight was our train ride from Lecco to Varenna and walk up to the castle. Host Nicolla very responsive and helpful. Thanks very much for milk/biscuits/prosecco! Very comfortable king sized bed. Second bedroom very small with a single bed that extends to a double- not ideal for two teenagers to share. "Sehr schönes haus in den Bergen. Die Aussicht ist echt top! Leider haben die Räume innen teilweise etwas Schimmel an den Wänden und die Straße ist die letzten 500m nicht asphaltiert und hat viele Schlaglöcher. Abgesehen davon ist es wunderbares Objekt ist super Lage!"
