"This is a lovely rustic property with a beautiful outdoor area including plenty of seating areas and an adequate sized pool. A car is needed. The owners were extremely welcoming and went above and beyond to meet us late at night as our flight was delayed. We really appreciated the cake and port - thank you!"

"What a wonderful stay we had! We had a most amazing week in this newly built house, where all our stresses melted away. The house is as described, comfortable furniture (the double bed was so comfortable, we slept very well!) and we had everything we needed. The outside area was fabulous: the pool, the gardens, the views were wonderful. Natividade and her husband were great hosts, very amenable and kind. "What a very cool place! If you like interesting lodging and nature, you will love this place. It is a bit off the beaten path however, so you'll require a car. Definitely take them up on the offer to stay for dinner. Dona Natalia's home-cooked meals are absolutely delicious (if my Cajun grandmother was Portuguese, she would be Natalia), and a great deal at 15 euros per person, with wine. "

"Fernado & Amelia were very welcoming and had generously left a welcome gift pack. We were given lots of information about services & things to do in the area. The outdoor living space with bbq & outdoor sink and plenty of charcoal together with the pool greatly enhanced our stay in early July. The only downside was there was no airconditioning (our error not noticing when booking) as in the 1st week temperatures were up to 40 degrees but fans were provided. A lovely peaceful setting."
