"Such a beautiful spot to have a pub/ hotel. The staff are friendly and polite and the food delicious. My only dislike was that even though we didn’t have a dog with us. Our room had clearly been used by someone who had a dog with them previously. The rooms could do with a paint in places and there were some huge cobwebs on the ceiling. "Myself and my partner chose the green grove country house b&b as mini moon for after our wedding and wow they were amazing. Allowing us to check in early to being flexible and welcoming. "This is the second time we've stayed at the Mason Freehouse, it was lovely the first time we stayed, which made us keen to return. "This property is ideally placed to visit Grassington and walks around the area. It is clean, well appointed and first class en suite bathroom facilities. The down side is that there are a lot of rooms and a number of the occupants came into this venue later into the night. The doors are vintage as are the locks etc, so we found it a bit noisy and had a disturbed sleep. "

We will return!

"We stayed in Stables 2 and it was a beautiful and cosy apartment. A friendly cat greeted us and made sure we we were all settled in :) and we were greeted with a lovely bottle of red wine, cookies, a nespresso machine with four pods and firewood for the fire. The kitchen is kitted out perfectly and had everything we needed. The bathroom was nice, with a shower and spme toiletries and all very clean. We had the best sleep in the bed, which was more comfy than my own bed, so now I'm thinking I need a new mattress! The pillows were 5* pilllows - so comfy! There were lovely little touches from the art work on the walls, the heart with fairly lights on it on the dresser where you walk in, to a little book of Yorkshire poems which my other half found funny listening to me read in my Manchester accent - he sounded much better reading them with his Yorkshire accent! There are plenty of places to eat in this beautiful little village and lovely walks to be taken. Thank you to the attentive host for checking in with us to make sure all was okay, too."

A fantastic apartment in a great location.

"We stayed here for 2 nights on a last minute decision. The communication from the owner was excellent and it was easy to find, even at night in the dark. A lovely little apartment, well equipped and the log burner was much appreciated. Excellent location in a lovely town, full of very friendly people. My only suggestion would be that the bed could do with a topper. That's not a criticism though, we would definitely go back. "

Anniversary days away

"Small but perfectly formed, just a beautiful cosy little cottage in a gorgeous village, everything you need to enjoy your stay, the kitchen was well provided with utensils, cooker, microwave washer etc, the lounge was cosy with tv & wifi, door to small yard, in summer will be lovely to sit out! Parking a bit tight (our car quite big)but we knew this before we went, so made use of village carpark 2mins walk away,after dropping cases off! Will definitely go again! Loved it!"
