"The hotel is spotless, in a great location, walking distance to shops, restaurants and the local sites. The proprietor, Ellen, is friendly and she makes you feel like you’re at home. We have stayed at this property before, last year, the reason we returned is because of the hospitality. Everyone is so nice and accommodating, the rooms are a good size and extremely clean. If you ever need anything, there is always someone there to help. I would never think of going anywhere else."

"Beautiful Portuguese Casa with lovely garden, pool, and breakfast/rec room. Amazing collections of various items on display everywhere you look. The hostess. Ari, was wonderful and so very helpful. The room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Rio Maior is only an hour or so from Lisbon and so much more relaxing to stay and enjoy the surrounding sites. "The old farmhouse is amazing with lots of antiques and the property is so pretty. All the amazing details make this the perfect, relaxing spot to spend a few days.
