"We enjoyed our stay here - although parking was a huge challenge. The unit came as advertised and was in a great location. We did a self check in, so no need to connect directly with the property manager. However she was a bit slow to respond on check in day when we needed assistance with the wifi. And the only info we could find in the unit was in Portuguese. "

"Fantastic area right in the heart of the castle. However, tricky to get to as you need to park your car 10 minutes away and then navigate through the cobbled streets. The house is very quaint, but has damp issues so you can smell mould ( although it was winter, so maybe it is better in summer). Heating was a bit basic. Barthroom had a vague smell of sewerage- not really strong, but enough for me to question the high price of the accomodation. Needs to spend a lot more on plumbing and heating, or...

"The house is true paradise to escape from the busy summer destinations like Nazaré. We really enjoyed the rooftop terrace with sea side view, close location to the ocean and beach, the calmness of the area and the well equipped and large house. "Good size apartment, close to the beach. Washer/dryer was handy. For such a beautiful part of Portugal there was a disappointing view out of the apartment - looking at other buildings and being overlooked by them. Certainly not the stunning ocean view shown in all their marketing material. Also disappointing not to be able to control the heating given the cold wet weather in mid March - it did feel a bit cold in the apartment at times. "

"The place itself is nice and has a certain charm. Didn’t love the location/area though and lack of programming. Every little thing was extra (like towel rentals, no class yoga only private lessons) which wasnt a big deal but still different from what we are used to. "The staff at this property are lovely. The service was fast, friendly, attentive and overall wonderful. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the room was the perfect temperature. I would definitely come again and recommend it to everyone. The beach is an easy walk with Western Union, a lil market and a restaurant around the corner. This was simply the perfect location."

Charming boutique hotel

"Beautiful property inside the walls of the medieval section of the city. We were greeted for a very late check in by friendly Natalia who offered us the local cherry liqueur. She was very helpful and attentive. This property is charming and I would definitely be back if we visit this area again. All city attractions are within walking distance. Make sure to tour the city walls and the Main Street. Note that you cannot enter the old city with a car so parking is outside the walls and luggage is carried inside. This can be challenging with big suitcases but worth the effort. "

Perfect for history buffs.

"We enjoyed the large room tastefully decorated with amenities. Had a little issue with the tv remote which was resolved promptly by the front desk clerk. All staff very friendly and very polite and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. Location perfect, close to sights and shops. "
