"Such a beautiful and authentic villa. A setting no less than perfect for a proper stay in the Italian country side. Just a 10-minute walk from Stia and yet fully private. Lucia was the perfect host - always willing and able to help with any questions we had. We've been spending holidays in Italy for near on 20 years, always agri turismo and this place is up there among the very best. Five-star ratings from me are few and far between, but Lucia and her place definitely earns all five stars."

La maison en elle-même est très sympathique et bien équipée. "The house provided beautiful views, a magnificent location, and the host was warm and welcoming. Nestled in old world Italy, surrounded by quaint countryside towns, we found the area to be iconically surreal. Although our trip was marred with climactic tragedy, the one bright spot of our travel through the Emilia Romagna was staying in the beautiful hilltop villa of Le Orchidee. The staff were more that helpful with tips and ideas for dining and exploring the area and the evenings we booked for dinners at the house were so nice! "This is a place to come to enjoy Tuscany without the tourist crush, great location just over an hour from Florence airport with superb views down the valley.  Monica who is the property manager and her sister were very hospitable, bringing fresh homemade pasta and helping us with tips where to go and booking a restaurant for us.
