"We were 8 adults on holiday from Australia, we drew straws for the rooms, unfortunately, we got the downstairs room...no air-conditioning, it was hot and there were some fans but only one worked! Nonetheless, we enjoyed our time here! The villa needs a little bit of updating, decor, TV's and the oven was hard going at times! These are small things and when updated, the Villa would be superb. We had an issue with a door not locking and after contact with the owner, a carpenter came to fix in good...

"We were a little tired and stressed on arrival as our pre booked hire car was a bit of a mission to sort. The Villa owner was there when we arrived, wanting payment for bedding and cleaning. We were expecting the bedding but had missed the €180 for cleaning as the correspondence was in French only. She said that they shouldn’t really be letting the property as they’d had a water leak leaving one of the rooms damp and with mould, which was true. You will need a car but you are going to be nested in a national park 5 minutes drive from civilization. Patricia (host) was super attentive and responsive from pre booking to checking out. The location is extremely quiet but easy access to the local village of Flayosc which had lovely square and far more restaurants than I thought it would have.
