"Definitely, a beautiful stay with beautiful views. Checkin process is so easy and host was very quick in response. There is some issue with hot water but other than that we had a really good time. Will definitely book one more time."

"Unfortunately, the house is in complete disrepair, not maintained and dirty. The mattresses are like sleeping on wood. The lawn and patio had not been mowed or weeded for at least a month. The owner did respond immediately to questions or issues that arose. The view is amazing."

The house is well equipped, Alex is an excellent host and our stay was everything we hoped for and more. "We had a big group of 14 people and booked this property on Howe Island. The location was great. It was quite, remote and peaceful, just what we were looking for. The hosts, Courtney and Chris along with their kids were very hospitable and did a great job of hosting us. Would definitely consider this place again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great getaway!"

"Beautiful surroundings and everything you need to enjoy the beautiful St. Lawrence River. Our extended family was up and our cottage down the road was full. This was a wonderful space to be close to family and still have privacy, quiet, and all the conveniences of home. Well appointed, clean and very responsive host. If the situation arises again and we love our family so we hope it does - we won't hesitate to return. Well done!"

"We spent four very quiet and restful days at this location. Well appointed with a lovely sunroom, firepit, and walking access to a sandy swimming spot on beautiful Upper Beverley Lake. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean and had all the amenities. The bedrooms were comfortable and the air conditioning made the hot Summer day comfortable. Very quiet, peaceful area! Had a wonderful time."

"The best part of the trip was the boat tour. The lake and area are beautiful. Please match the online listing to signs posted in the suite (e.g. Pool hours only 6am to 9pm). Check-in was confusing and not advised when requesting it in advance. Pool area is not very private with a half-frosted glass partition wall next to the host’s TV/common area. The lakeside suite was not peaceful. The cottage only a few feet away had loud young adults (8+) with no privacy from them staring down at us when...

"My wife and I spent a wonderful week in September at the Gecieve Opinicon. The cottage is clean and well-appointed with all you need for your stay. There is an incredible view of the water from the property including the sun room and bedroom. We spent many hours on the clear water in the kayaks with plenty of wildlife to see. The stars were beautiful! There is a perfect outdoor area to relax with café lights, a picnic table and a jacuzzi. Our hosts, Alison and David, were very kind and quickly...

"We arrived to find that our “luxurious cottage” was a cabin in a trailer park, trail of dog poop brought us to the door. We don’t mind rustic but moldy coffee left in the maker and someone’s soap in the shower was just the start. I paid for it and slept on the couch cushions on the floor. We made the best of it for our friends birthday but no privacy, no wifi and didn’t even get the cottage in the picture was enough for me. View was nice tho. "
